Project Introduction
Calculus Assistant is a teaching project led by the Mathematics Calculation Laboratory (MCL) at National Central University. This project aims to provide teaching resources and intelligent learning assistance for the freshman calculus common course.
Designed for internal teaching, this system combines intelligent Q&A with interactive visualization to provide students with instant answers and learning support, helping freshmen better adapt to calculus courses and improve learning outcomes.

AI Q&A
Uses advanced language model technology to provide instant, precise, and step-by-step solutions and conceptual clarifications for any calculus difficulties.
Image Recognition
Supports directly uploading or pasting problem images. The system automatically recognizes mathematical formulas and geometric figures in the image and provides solutions, eliminating the need to manually type complex formulas.
Dynamic Visualization
Automatically generates function graphs and integral regions, with support for 3D surface rendering. Dynamically adjust constants and coefficients via sliders to intuitively understand geometric changes.
Step-by-step Verification
The backend integrates a professional SymPy computation engine to assist in verifying every step of your mathematical derivation and calculation results, ensuring accuracy and helping you build correct checking habits.
Smart Math Input
Integrates a professional math keyboard and rendering engine. Whether it's complex multiple integrals or limit symbols, you can easily input and perfectly display them just like typing.
Personalized Memory
The system proactively learns and remembers your learning preferences, weak chapters, and common mistakes from conversations, providing consistent, personalized teaching strategies across chats.
History Tracking
Automatically saves every problem-solving process to build your exclusive knowledge base. Review past mistakes and key points anytime, anywhere, for more efficient studying.
Campus Authentication
Seamlessly integrates with the school Portal system for quick login using campus accounts, ensuring the system is exclusively for faculty and students and securing learning resources.
Socratic Guided Mode
AI acts as your personal tutor, guiding you to think actively and derive calculus concepts through a series of heuristic questions rather than giving direct answers.
Interactive Practice
Select the calculus topics you want to strengthen. The system will generate random problems, and after answering, you will receive instant grading and detailed feedback.
